The 269-room, seven-story Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta is built on the concept of “Legacy of a Misty Tropical Ruin Village”, an ancient ruin and supporting village, sitting in the midst of a tropical jungle. Guests will easily recognize this theme as it incorporates the same axis as many architectural details of the renowned Borobudur Temple, which is readily accessible from the hotel and is a major source of attraction for visitors to Yogyakarta.

Wrapped around the sprawling 22-hectare hotel grounds is a nine-hole golf course designed by Fisette Golf Design and landscaped by Tongg, Clark and McCelvey, from Hawaii. The golf course is par 30 with 6 par-3-holes and 3 par-4 and plays to 1,835 meters. Each hole has three Tee-off areas to accommodate professional, man and lady golfers.



The public areas of the resort repeat the images of an Indonesian village. Consisting of a collection of pavilions, set in Javanese-style roofs, housing the café restaurant - Kemangi Bistro, lobby lounge and lobby court - Paseban Lounge and the 650 square meter Ballroom which can be subdivided into six individual meeting rooms to accommodate meetings of various sizes. Our Ballroom can be set up to 350 for a banquet, 510 for a meeting, and 1,000 persons for cocktails. More meeting rooms in Arjuna and Merbabu Meeting Room can also accommodate your fine meeting for 15 to 20.



The newest meeting and social event venue is The Residence, a private mansion concept with state-of-the-art technology facilities, and the first of its kind in Yogyakarta. The Residence offers personalized service for flexible events, including conferences, small dinners, meetings, cocktail parties, weddings and product launches.



Accommodation consists of 269 guestrooms and suites, spread out in four wings. The north wing exclusively for the Regency Club, with sweeping views of Mount Merapi, contains 51 Regency Club rooms and nine suites (six Junior Suites, two Executive Suites and one Presidential Suite) and the Regency Club Lounge, where complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails are served. All the 209 Garden View room are perched on the other wings (east, west and south), overlooking beautiful landscaped garden and panoramic view of the entire surrounding region of Yogyakarta, on higher floors.



Dining options include Paseban Lounge serving afternoon tea, cocktails and light snacks; Kemangi Bistro (Kemangi is the Indonesian basil leaf) with an open kitchen and wood-fired pizza oven serves Asian and Western favourites; and Bogey’s Teras at the golf starter, both showcase authentic Indonesian cuisine and popular light snacks. Special at Bogey’s Teras presents live music every Friday and Saturday from 9pm; and the 24-hour in-room dining service.



The hotel offers a variety of activities for your family in a relax Resort setting that you will wish for more.
