When Lord Shiva was walking with Dewi Uma by the sea, Lord Shiva's semen dripped into the sea when he saw Dewi Uma's calf because the wind was blowing revealing the cloth of the Goddess. Lord Shiva wanted to invite Dewi Uma to have sexual intercourse, but the Goddess refused because Lord Shiva's behavior was inappropriate, unlike the behavior of the gods in heaven. Finally they both returned to heaven. Lord Shiva's semen dripped into the sea and was found by Lord Brahma and Vishnu. They casted spell on the semen. From the seed of a god, a giant was born who growled asking who his parents were. On the instructions of Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu, the giant learned that Lord Shiva and Goddess Uma were his parents.
